Woke up a bit late, sleeping better now. Our restaurant closes at 0900 and we were too late so went to the main dining area and it was packed because there are no shore excursions.
There was plenty of food though, so had a selection, then went for a coffee.
Not a lot going to happen for the next couple of days, but we’ve decided to go on an excursion to Kuala Lumpur when we get there – they drop us off next to a shopping mall and we are free to do our own thing for 4 hours.
I debated about doing it because it’s not very exciting, but at least it’s off the boat. They have the hop on hop off buses there so we could do that.
Wandered around, went for a walk around the boat and up and down the stairs a few times, then to the private lounge which we had to ourselves for a while, had a gin and tonic, read a bit and then went to lunch in the main area, the sit down restaurants didn’t have anything we particularly liked.
Back to the cafe, then walked around, then back to the room, then back to the cafe, then on to dinner.
Tonight was ‘cruise chic’ night or something, and people were all dressed up in their best clothes, I even saw a couple of guys wearing bow ties. Why bother?
Went to a different restaurant for the first time, food was ok.
Back to the room to watch tv.
